The 58th annual SVACA Marketplace takes place in Fort Ransom on Saturday, September 26 from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, September 27 from 10 am to 4 pm. Area artisans, photographers, musicians and wine makers sell goods, alongside a food court and local food vendors amid fall colors in the Sheyenne River Valley.

This event focuses on handmade crafts and goods and has a rich history that includes vendors from several states each year. The Dickens Village Festival turns Garrison, a town of 1,500, into a Victorian village on four days in 2026: November 27 and 28, then December 4 and 5.
