Festival in the Park is a 62nd annual family-oriented outdoor festival held in Freedom Park, Charlotte. The event welcomes over 127,000 festivalgoers and features 190 local, regional, and national artists alongside food concessionaires. It runs Friday through Sunday in late September 2026.

The 62nd annual Festival in the Park runs September 25 through 27, 2026, at Freedom Park in Charlotte, with hours from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Running since 1964, the festival mixes live music, an artist market and food vendors around the park's lake.
