The town of Shallotte now runs its market as Market-Fest at the Riverwalk, with a season of themed dates including an Autumn market on September 19, a Harvest to Holiday market on November 14, and a Kringle market on December 19. Each Market-Fest brings local vendors, handmade goods, live music and a kids craft corner to the Shallotte Riverwalk.
