Pickle lovers, get ready: the 2026 North Carolina Pickle Festival gets underway on Saturday, April 25 from 9 am to 6 pm in Downtown Mount Olive. Every year in April, Mount Olive the community and Mt. Olive the company come together to celebrate a mutually dill-lightful relationship. Pickles may be the theme, but community is what the festival is all about. One of the N.C. Pickle Festival’s enduring traditions is the Cuke Patch 5K. Help us make this year the best one yet! Easily the highlight of the North Carolina Pickle Festival, the Pickle Eating Contest features up to 20 people vying for the honor of Champ! Pickles and peppers are great straight out of the jar, on the side or on a sandwich, and, well, what else? If you have ideas for pickles or peppers in entrees, appetizers, beverages or even dessert, the NC Pickle Festival Recipe Contest is for you!
