Garfield County Fair August 1 & 4-8, 2026 – Red, White and Blue – A Fair for you! It’s time to get smashed, bashed and crashed at the Garfield County Fair and Rodeo. The mud will fly amid the roar of the fans at the Garfield County Fairgrounds outdoor arena. Come on out and cheer on these brave drivers as they and their vehicles give it their all. The 2026 Garfield County Fair & Rodeo takes place in western Colorado at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in the town of Rifle. The 88th annual event starts August 1 with the parade down Railroad Avenue, followed by the main events August 4-8. Fun, excitement, and pride in our western heritage will be on display. This year’s theme, “Red, White and Blue – A Fair for you!” honors 88 years of Fair tradition, 150 years of Colorado statehood, 110 years of 4-H, and the 250-year anniversary of the United States of America. Nebraska’s Big Rodeo hosts one of the best midways. Our midway is always a variety of excellent food vendors; vendors selling home goods, clothing, and jewelry. There is truly something for everyone at Nebraska’s Big Rodeo and Garfield County Fair. The Midway opens at 5pm each evening, with rodeo gates opening at 6:30pm and the rodeo performances starting at 7:30pm. If you are interested in being a vendor at the next Nebraska’s Big Rodeo July 23-26th, 2025, go to our rodeo information page and print off a vendor application form and return it to us.
