The Crane Broiler Festival—Serving Up Our Famous BBQ Chicken For 75 Years! Come experience one of the BEST small-town festivals around! A “broiler” is a young chicken around 2.5-3.5lbs. Here, we barbeque them up in large batches while enjoying a nonstop weekend of events, live music, and old-fashioned fun! Crane Broiler Festival and event parking are ALWAYS FREE! Our famous BBQ Chicken started it all back in 1952! $12 includes half a chicken, 2 sides (potato salad and baked beans), a piece of bread, and a drink (a can of soda or bottle of water). $9 includes half a chicken and a piece of bread. No sides or drink.
