The Shepherd’s Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival is a celebration of all things fiber! Join us for a weekend of shopping, learning, and fun. Our festival features: – Classes and workshops for all skill levels – New 2026 classes – register now!! – Food, music, and entertainment for the whole family! Friday , May 8th, Classes Only ( no vendors ) – Saturday May 9th, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. – Sunday , May 10th, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Admission $5 – Free for Kids 8 & under – Free Parking – (Dogs are not allowed on Fairgrounds during the Festival).

The first Mille Lacs County Fair was held in September 1892, when premiums were given to show the biggest and best that the county residents had to offer for livestock, produce and household goods. It was a time to showcase advancements in Agriculture. The biggest draw was the horse racing that took place on the grounds. As time has progressed so has the Fair.
