You want to be sure to head for the tent in the center of The Common on Apple Country Fair day. There you will find our Rapple which is one of our major fundraisers. Over the years, the prizes have varied considerably. One thing that has remained constant is the generosity of local businesses to this cause. A sampling of some donations is: gift certificates, flowers/plants, furniture, tickets to plays/shows, memberships to museums, toys, home decorating items, and sporting goods. In addition, a print of An Apple a Day by Jacob Knight, and cash have been included. Every year, the quilt is one of the most popular prizes. The Berkshire Botanical Garden's Harvest Festival runs October 10 and 11, 10 am to 5 pm, across its 24 acre grounds in Stockbridge. The long running fall tradition features pony rides, a hay maze, hayrides, a petting zoo, live music, 50 artisan craft vendors, food trucks and a plant sale, with $15 gate admission and free entry for children 12 and under.
The Yarmouth Seaside Festival Arts & Crafts Fair is a two-day gathering of artisans, food vendors, music, and family activities during Columbus Day Weekend. The broader festival also includes a road race, canoe and kayak race, fireworks, rides, games, and a sand-sculpture contest.

The 42nd Annual Needham High School Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9 am to 3 pm at Needham High School. This event features a craft fair with 100+ exhibitors and an extensive bake sale.

North Shore Vendor Events is holding its 5th annual Small Business Saturday Holiday Fair at the Hilton Boston Woburn on Saturday, November 28, from 10 am to 3 pm. The free event brings together more than 50 local vendors and crafters, with a cash bar and complimentary coffee and pastries while supplies last. The New England Craft and Specialty Food Fair runs three days, November 13 through 15, at the Topsfield Fairgrounds Arena, 207 Boston St in Topsfield. The indoor show combines more than 150 booths of handmade gifts such as decor, toys, glass and woodwork with specialty foods including baked goods, chocolates and gourmet snacks. Hours run 10 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm Sunday, with $12 gate admission and free parking.
