BANGOR FARMERS MARKET IS EVERY Sunday 11-1:30 pm across from the library Every Sunday, come shop the freshest food and products from your favorite local Maine farms and kitchens. Seasonal vegetables, greens, mushrooms, apples and berries, meats (including beef, pork, lamb, and chicken) fresh bread, pastries, eggs, cheese, yogurt and kefir, locally-roasted coffee beans, flowers, garden plants, canned products and so much more! Come hungry and enjoy made-to-order crepes, local sausages and fresh coffee, too! The 2026 Bangor State Fair runs July 30 through August 8 at the Cross Insurance Center and Bass Park on Main Street in Bangor. It features a demolition derby, baking and food eating competitions, agricultural exhibits, photo competitions and food and drink vendors.
