Over 80 artists specializing in oils, acrylics, sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, glass, metal and much more! In addition to the festival classics like Mock Dig and Brookshires Miniature Grocery, or thrilling action rides and interactive exhibits, The Revel also hosts 5,000 4th graders each year during school hours for a dynamic arts education program. This program is organized by community education professionals and the education administrations of Caddo & Bossier Parishes. Recieve periodic updates on all things Revel, Cork, and Shreveport Farmer’s Market. The Revel opens daily at 11:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Mudbug Madness Festival is a three day Cajun festival held each Memorial Day weekend in downtown Shreveport at 101 Crockett Street. Since starting in 1984, it has grown to feature two stages with about thirty bands playing country, blues and zydeco, plus food and craft vendors, a children's area, and crawfish eating contests with boiled crawfish.
