AQS QuiltWeek brings its traveling quilt show to 303 Monroe Avenue in Paducah, Kentucky, April 22 to 25, 2026, and returns April 21 to 24, 2027. The show displays semi-finalist and award winning quilts along with exhibits from around the world, and pairs workshops and lectures from quilting instructors with a large vendor Merchant Mall. Cash prizes are among the largest offered to quilters in the country.

The Mountain Mushroom Festival is a free, family friendly weekend celebrating Appalachian culture in downtown Irvine, Kentucky. Events include a Fungus 5K and 2K race through downtown, a rock, gem and mineral show, a car show, cooking demonstrations at the Mushroom Foodway Stage, and free live music at the Grandstand. The Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is a juried fair with more than 200 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Art Fair is held in Louisville’s historic Cherokee Triangle neighborhood on tree-lined Cherokee Parkway between Willow Avenue and Cherokee Road.
