Saturday in the Park is a free annual music festival at Grandview Park Bandshell in Sioux City, held on the Saturday closest to the Fourth of July. Started in 1991, it draws around 25,000 attendees from across the Midwest, with 2026 headliners including Joe Bonamassa, Marcus King Band and Tech N9ne, plus a second stage, food vendors and an arts alley.

The Iowa City Jazz Festival runs July 2 through 5, 2026, in downtown Iowa City with stages along Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue. The very first Threshing Show was held in August of 1971. The Threshermen and Collectors Association was formally organized on December 11, 1974. On October 31, 1975, the members of the Association voted to accept a land gift of 15 acres from Ed and Agnes Sundholm for the development of the “Heritage Site”. From its humble beginnings, the Association has poured itself into and grown one of the best collector shows in the region. With the help of loyal volunteers, exhibitors and patrons, the show’s future will shine on for generations. Serving as president of the organization is Keith Kuhlengel from Palmyra, PA and vice president is Reese Groshong of Columbia, MO. There are about 180 families that belong to the organization with the majority of them from the Midwest. The Rumely Product Collectors were last in Albert City for the show in 2009. Art in the Park, a juried fine art festival presented by Main Street Elkader, takes place October 3 and 4, 2026, at Founders' Park along the Turkey River in downtown Elkader, Iowa, with hours of 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm Sunday. The event features local and regional artists and has twice won an Iowa Arts Council grant plus an Iowa Tourism Award.

Viva Perry Latino Festival is hosted by Hispanics United for Perry and runs August 29, 2026, at Pattee Park. The day starts with a parade at 10 am that follows the same route as Perry's Fourth of July parade before ending at the park, then continues with music, dancers, kids activities and food and other vendors from 11 am to 7 pm. The City of Perry lists it among its annual events, but no separate vendor application could be found beyond contacting the organizing group directly.
