Since 1986, the Kootenai County Farmers' Market has been providing the communities of North Idaho with fresh, locally-grown produce. From May through October, our markets specialize in vegetable, flower, and native plants and an ever changing array of local food products--meats, cheeses, bread, honey, and jams--all season long. So grab a cup of coffee, listen to the live music and peruse the more than 100 producers and artisans who make up our two markets--from cheese to chairs, breads to birdhouses--you'll find it at the market! Dogs are not allowed at the Saturday Market Grounds. This includes dogs being carried, in strollers, backpacks, or purses. Thank you. We gladly accept Food Stamps/EBT. Every Tuesday you’ll have the opportunity to experience THE FARMSTAND at New Leaf — our objective is to provide locally sourced food options for our neighbors to provide a healthier lifestyle. We want to be your ‘go to’ weekly source for fresh produce, locally grown meats, fresh eggs, bakery goods, and cold pressed juice, along with fresh cut flowers, and, as we grow, local honey, spices and jams. THE FARMSTAND will run every Tuesday during the 2026 growing season from June to September. North Idaho Christian School's Annual Christmas Market is a longstanding craft fair, held at the school in Hayden, Idaho each December for more than 40 years running. It draws over 50 local vendors selling handmade holiday gifts and decorations, along with live music, a chili and potato bar, and raffles. The 2026 market is set for Saturday, December 6, from 9 am to 3 pm, and admission is free.
