The Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival in Claxton includes a parade and a car, motorcycle and tractor show on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Festival gates open at 8 am, with car show registration from 10 am to 2 pm and awards for the top 20 entries announced at 3 pm.

The Valdosta-Lowndes Azalea Festival returns to downtown Valdosta on March 13 and 14, 2027, marking its 27th year. The outdoor festival packs in more than 250 arts and crafts vendors, a food court, and six stages of entertainment, plus a classic car and motorcycle show, an expanded KidZone, falconry demonstrations, and the Disc-Connected K9's Frisbee show. A 5K race and evening Azalea After Dark events round out the weekend.

In 1982, Maxell (a previous local Japanese manufacturing company) along with the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, held the first Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival to further nurture the friendship and exchange of Japanese Culture. In 1997, the festival moved to the Georgia International Horse Park in order to accommodate the growth in size and attendance.From that simple beginning, the two-day contemporary art festival has grown to include hundreds of artist and crafter booths, a variety of food booths and entertainment from diverse cultures generally attracting an estimated 25,000 guests over the weekend. Festival goers enjoy free admission into the festival with a parking fee. The festival continues to grow and strives for excellence each year. Over the years, the festival has been awarded “Best Festival in the Southeast” at the Southeast Festivals and Events Kaleidoscope Awards, recently taking home the GOLD again in 2026. The festival has also been named a Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society for multiple years and most recently named Signature Event in the Southeast in 2025. Scheduled during the blooming of the beautiful Yoshino Cherry Trees, the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival brings the community together focusing on cultural understanding and friendship through art, music, dance, crafts, food and entertainment.

Sandy Springs Artsapalooza is a popular two-day outdoor arts festival held annually in Sandy Springs, just north of Atlanta.
