Byron BBQ Fest is a two day barbecue competition and community festival at North Peach Park in Byron, Georgia, running September 18 and 19, 2026, Friday evening into Saturday afternoon. It combines a sanctioned barbecue cook off with live music and family activities. The Byron Welcome Center and Convention and Visitors Bureau organizes cook team, food vendor and general vendor applications for the event.

ARTS FEST is the Creative Arts Guild’s annual celebration of fine art and crafts. Centered around a covered outdoor market featuring artists from all over the southeast, it also includes an indoor juried patron exhibit which hangs in the Guild galleries from September 18 - October 23, children's activities, live music and performances, food vendors, and self-guided tours of the Robert T. Webb Sculpture Garden. Admission is free on Saturday and Sunday.

The Creative Arts Guild is Georgia’s oldest multi-disciplinary community arts center. We are located in northwest Georgia, approximately 20 miles south of Chattanooga TN and 70 miles north of Atlanta.
