For 55 fun-filled years, the Georgia Apple Festival has brought two exciting weekends in October to Ellijay and East Ellijay. A big festival that manages to keep the small-town feel, it offers hundreds of vendors with handmade, hand-crafted items, on-site demonstrations, live music, and delicious fair food. Second and Third Weekends of October: Saturday - 9am-6p Sunday- 9am-5p

This sister festival is located behind the Downtown Ellijay Welcome Center and adds fun arts & crafts and food to the downtown scene on the same dates as the Georgia Apple Festival. Apple Arts is pet-friendly, accessible, and admission is free! Second and Third Weekends Saturday: 10AM-6PM Sunday: 10AM-5PM

Merry Mountain Town📅 November 27, 2026📍 Broad StreetFestival:The festival will run from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Broad Street with vendor booths, food, and holiday music. Santa will be available for children’s photos throughout the afternoon until the parade begins.Parade:The parade starts at 6:00 PM at Ellijay Elementary School (EES), traveling along North Main Street, around the roundabout, down River Street, and North Avenue before returning to EES. During the parade, Santa will light the town's Christmas tree.
