Athens Farmers Market has brought together local farmers, artists and makers each week since 2008 at Bishop Park in Athens, Georgia. The Saturday market runs from 8 am to noon, March through December, with two live music sets, a children's activity booth and vendors selling naturally grown produce, prepared foods, handmade goods and seasonal flowers.

This is the Wednesday edition of the Athens Farmers Market, held from 5 to 8 pm, March through November, at Creature Comforts in downtown Athens. Annual membership costs 225 dollars plus a stall fee that runs from 250 to 1,200 dollars depending on space, and every new applicant goes through an inspection with a 25 dollar fee. Vendors apply online after reading the market bylaws, and growers must include a map of their growing area.

AthFest is an annual free, three-day festival that celebrates Athens, GA’s vibrant creative culture, featuring local and regional musicians and visual artists. Thousands of people flock to the streets of historic downtown Athens each AthFest to experience live music by artists from a variety of genres, enjoy local artwork, and soak up the vibe of one of America’s coolest cities.
