Mamas Wear Prada Market is a curated pop-up shopping event held at Temeku Cinemas in Temecula, run by Girls Day Out Market. A comparable earlier market at the same venue brought more than 50 small businesses together alongside food trucks, beer and wine, a bounce house and face painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Girls Day Out Market exists to give small local businesses a place to sell directly to the community.
San Diego Made's spring market shuts down La Mesa Boulevard in downtown La Mesa for a free, all-day handmade shopping festival, most recently held Saturday, May 2, from 11 am to 6 pm. The street fair features more than 120 curated local makers, vintage sellers and small-batch producers, plus food trucks and photo opportunities. Craft and packaged-goods vendors apply through a 15 dollar application fee, with accepted vendors then paying a booth fee of 175 to 275 dollars plus a one-day city business license.
