The 40th California Avocado Festival runs October 2 through 4, 2026, in downtown Carpinteria on Linden Avenue, with a Friday locals block party from 1 to 11 pm, Saturday hours from 11 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. The nonprofit event features more than 60 bands on three stages, 50 arts, crafts and commercial vendors and 15 food vendors, with proceeds benefiting local youth organizations.
