Trade Day in Scottsboro is Scottsboro’s oldest tradition. Originally called “First Monday” because it was held on the first Monday of the month, Trade Day is a day for local craftsman, food vendors, and anyone who wants to come sell or trade their items. It is held on the Saturday before the first Monday of each month in Downtown Scottsboro on the courthouse square. Mobile Bay Makers Market is an open air artisan market in Fairhope, Alabama that has run since 2021, showcasing local makers, growers and small businesses at Hope Community. The market's planned September return has been paused while organizers look for a new location, so no dates are currently scheduled.

Food Truck Friday is Opelika Chamber's family-friendly downtown food-truck tradition, with a rotating lineup of more than 20 food vendors, live music, pop-up vendors, themed activities, and movie nights. The end-of-summer edition brings the event to North Railroad Avenue and First Avenue.
The Depot Days Festival rolls into Hartselle each year on the third Saturday in September, bringing a day of free family-friendly fun and entertainment to the historic depot and downtown area. Hosted by the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, the Depot Days Festival is a tribute to the railroad industry and its contribution to Hartselle and the North Alabama region. In addition to the one-day celebration, there are additional activities planned in the week leading up to the event.
Depot Days Festival gets underway at 8 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Activities include a car, truck, and motorcycle show, music performances, food and craft vendors, an art show, a tractor and engine show, and a variety of fun and games for children.

In addition to our monthly Art Nights (1st Thursday), Saturday Art Markets are another opportunity for artists to display and sell their wares to the community. Kentuck’s Saturday Art Markets will be a place for community members to get together, shop, and experience Kentuck’s campus. There will be multiple activities and a small $2 craft you and your little ones can enjoy. Come experience Kentuck and support local artists!
