Voted "One of the Best Festivals" by the 2026 Kane County Best of the Fox Readers' Choice Awards! Be part of the 2026 St. Charles Scarecrow Weekend and fill out the form to enter your scarecrow into the contest - it's free! The 41st annual Scarecrow Weekend will be held October 9th-11th in downtown St. Charles, Illinois. 120+ handmade scarecrows will be showcased around town for visitors to view and vote on their favorites. There will be a Family Zone with live entertainment and family fun as well as an Activity Zone with festive photo ops, Scarecrow-to-Go and family activities. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment on the 1st Street Plaza throughout the weekend, too! While visiting, make sure to treat yourself to many sales, specials, and events throughout town including the Autumn on the Fox Craft Show in Pottawatomie Park. Just Kabobs and Taco Urbano will be selling food...
