What began more than a decade ago as the Handmade Holiday Fest has grown alongside Lily & Sparrow and the community that has gathered around it. For 13 years, local makers, artists, small businesses, families, and Christmas shoppers have come together on Shop Small Saturday to celebrate creativity, community, and the joy of shopping small. In 2026, we’re giving this longtime tradition a fresh name and a little new life. The Christmas Faire & Noel Market carries forward everything we’ve loved about the Handmade Holiday Fest while creating an even more festive market experience for the years ahead. Join us at Lily & Sparrow Mercantile in beautiful downtown Covington, GA for a day filled with local artisan makers, Christmas shopping, live entertainment, festive treats, and the kind of community magic that has made this event special for more than a decade. Guests will enjoy artisan-made gifts, live Christmas music, face painting, Santa pictures, festive treats, and plenty of Christmas cheer throughout the day. 🎁 Vendor Call We’re curating a beautiful Christmas market filled with handmade, locally designed, and small-batch goods, including but not limited to: Candles & Home Fragrance • Bath & Body Products • Jewelry & Accessories • Christmas Ornaments & Seasonal Décor • Wreaths & Floral Designs • Pottery • Visual Art • Woodwork • Leather Goods • Glassware • Winter Apparel & Accessories • Journals & Stationery • Authors & Handmade Books • Georgia Cottage Food Makers • Baked Goods • Jams & Treats • Drinkware & Kitchen Gifts • Stocking Stuffers • Children’s Gifts • Handmade Gifts • and more. All items must be handmade, created, or designed by the vendor. No direct sales or mass-produced goods, please. 🎅 NEW THIS YEAR: Festive Fun Partners For the first time, we’re opening a limited number of spaces to local small businesses and nonprofit organizations that want to join the fun as Festive Fun Partners! Instead of a traditional vendor booth, Festive Fun Partners will provide an approved Christmas-themed activity or experience for children and families while having the opportunity to introduce their business or organization to the community. Approved partners may display signage, share information and promotional materials, and connect with guests while hosting their activity. These spaces are limited and are designed to add even more interactive, family-friendly fun to the Christmas Faire. 🎄 Vendor Booth Decorating Contest Christmas is more fun when everyone joins in! Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths and bring a little extra Christmas cheer. Vendors who decorate their booths and wear festive attire will be entered to win a Lily & Sparrow Mercantile gift card. ❤️ Event Organization & Funding The 13th Annual Christmas Faire & Noel Market is organized by Sparrow Launch Co. and hosted at Lily & Sparrow Mercantile, LLC. Event funding is provided through fundraising efforts of AWAKE Communities International, a Christian faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening communities through prayer, care, creativity, and connection. Vendor fees and other event-related fundraising help provide funding for the production and operation of the event and further the community-focused work associated with these efforts. 📌 Important Vendor Information • Early Bird pricing ends September 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST • Vendor application deadline is October 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST • Applications may remain open beyond the deadline if vendor spaces are still available • Limited category space is available to protect vendor exclusivity • Vendors may only sell products within the category for which they are approved • Prior participation does not guarantee acceptance • This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event 📣 Event Promotion Promoted through Lily & Sparrow Mercantile, AWAKE Communities International, Newton County Chamber of Commerce, on-site signage, social media, Facebook Events, vendor collaborations, and targeted digital marketing. Historically, this event has welcomed hundreds of local holiday shoppers to downtown Covington for Shop Small Saturday, making it a wonderful opportunity to kick off the Christmas shopping season with our community. 📌 Application Agreement By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions listed herein.
