About the event
The Appalachian Autumn Market and Fall Festival returns to Hickory Ridge History Museum on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m., with free admission and leashed pets welcome. The afternoon includes local makers, live Appalachian music and storytelling, apple butter making, fresh pressed cider, hatchet throwing, and kid and pet costume contests. It is run by the museum behind Horn in the West, and vendor applications for 2026 are already closed.
