The Annual North Country Summer Moose Festival! - MyGoNorth Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate all things Moose at the 35th annual North Country Moose Festival in downtown Colebrook, NH and at the Canaan Rec Park in Canaan, VT in 2025! Held annually the weekend before Labor Day. The 2025 festivities included a moose calling contest, live music, artisan & craft vendors, and family favorites such as train rides, a dog show, and maple syrup tasting contest – not to mention the classic car show! Helicopter Rides departing from behind the Black Bear Tavern from 9am to 4pm for a separate fee Helicopter Rides departing from the Ball Field A (east side of main road) at the Canaan Rec Park from 10am to 4pm for a separate fee Plan ahead and make the most of Moose Fest ’26!
