The 50th Annual Nappanee Apple Festival runs September 17 through 20, 2026, known for baking Indiana's largest apple pie, a seven foot pie pulled from the oven to kick off the festivities. The event draws an average of more than 80,000 people each year for games, shopping, entertainment, rides and apple pie, and was ranked the state's top fall festival food item in 2013 and 2016.
