About the event
MXLAN is a three day art and music festival in McAllen celebrating young Latino culture, with admission free on Wednesday and free before 5 p.m. the rest of the run for five dollars after. The event pairs live muralists and an artisan mercado with the Breakthrough Music Stage, a street parade featuring giant puppets and traditional dancers, and nightly letter burning ceremonies with fire dancers.
