About the event
The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest is the celebration of Memphis’ claim as the Barbecue Capital of the World. If you have a real crowd pleaser and would like to get in front of this lucrative and engaged audience then download the applications to learn more and apply today! Food vendors who are accepted will receive an email notification and vending upon acceptance. ALL menu items and prices must be approved by Memphis in May and only those items listed on the contract may be sold. The Communications Committee is a group of volunteers who serve as the information hub for vendors, staff, volunteers, and emergency services.
