See you on August 9, 2026 for Calgary’s oldest street festival! Marda Gras is a FREE family-friendly event in the heart of Marda Loop and the longest running street festival in Calgary. Take part in a pedestrian friendly, car-free day with your friends and family – shopping local, experiencing quality arts and culture programming, and connecting with your community. Celebrate Calgary’s oldest street festival in the heart of Marda Loop. 3 stages of live entertainment – music, dance and a fun kids area! Don’t miss the Pet Pageant on the 20 th Street Main Stage @ 12:15 – 1:00 pm. Enter your pet in the pageant or simply donate to our animal charity. All proceeds go to Parachutes for Pets ! There are over 250 small businesses participating; including many of Marda Loop’s very own beloved businesses.
