The John C. Fremont Days festival is an award winning three day celebration of Fremont, it’s history and it’s namesake, John C. Fremont, held the second full weekend of July each year. This family oriented citywide festival began in 1987 and has events throughout the City of Fremont with something for everyone… and most things are free! Activities include living history encampments at Clemmons Park, historical tours, a Chautauqua Tent with continuous entertainment, car and bike show, sporting events, children’s events, arts, craft and vendor fair, food courts, antique and collectors show, rough stock rodeo, a historical parade, beer gardens, music, and so much more!
