About the event
The Dundas Cactus Festival is a free family festival in Hamilton's Dundas neighborhood, held the third weekend of August along King Street West and Ogilvie Street. The 2026 dates were Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23, running Friday evening 6 to 10:30 pm, Saturday 10 am to 10:30 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm. It features a vendor marketplace, entertainment and family activities; vendor registration for 2026 has already closed, and interested vendors are asked to email ahead of the 2027 opening.
