Ames Main Street Farmers' Market runs Saturdays from May through October, 8 am to 12:30 pm, shifting to 9 am to 12:30 pm in October, along Ames Main Street between Douglas and Clark avenues. The market hosts about 130 vendors and draws an average of more than 8,000 visitors each Saturday, with live entertainment and children's activities.
