The Colleton County Rice Festival, established in 1975, is an annual event located in Downtown Walterboro, South Carolina. The festival celebrates the foundation of our city - rice - which was the staple crop of Walterboro's founders, brothers Paul and Jacob Walter. Historically, rice helped create enormous wealth for the Lowcountry, and Colleton County was perfect for growing it. Get ready for an unforgettable lineup of performers at Rice Festival.
