About the event
Up, Up & Away: Festival of Flight returns for its 9th year Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 3 to 7 pm at Prestwick Elementary in The Colony. The free, family event celebrates flight with kite flying demonstrations, a birding demonstration, paper airplane making, live entertainment and food trucks including Dippin' Dots, Kona Ice and So Forkin' Good BBQ.
