Friends of Evanston Farmers Markets (FEFM) – Advocating for greater access to healthy food for all community members, regardless of means. In 2026, the market will be open every Saturday from May 2 through Nov. 21, rain or shine. General admission is from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. ; 7 am early access for seniors and adults with disabilities . Important Notice: Customers are asked to please bring reusable bags to carry their purchases. Starting Saturday, July 18, vendors will no longer provide single-use plastic bags for customer purchases. This is to comply with an Evanston ordinance passed in 2023 but not enforced until now. Farm to Fork Educational Programs: On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, get advice from Master Gardners from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Illinois Extension.
