About the event
As the oldest maple festival in the United States, the Geauga County Maple Festival commemorates the production of pure maple syrup in Geauga County and Northeast Ohio. The festival is held annually during the last full weekend of April. We invite you to join us for four days of engaging activities, delectable food, and a celebration of all things maple. In anticipation of the festival weekend, we invite you to participate in Tappin’ Sunday, where we will hold a ceremonial tapping of the maple tree on Chardon Square, offering attendees a chance to taste the season’s first maple stirs.
