About the event
The Sourwood Festival takes over Black Mountain each August, named for the local sourwood honey harvest. The Black Mountain Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce sponsors a family friendly lineup of live music and dancing, arts and crafts vendors, food, kids rides and games, and face painting.
