About the event
Amana Colonies Winterfest, held most recently January 24, 2026, packs winter games, food and shopping into the villages. Highlights include the Amana Freezer 5K Run/Walk at 10 a.m., free admission to the Amana Heritage Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 1 p.m. author talk, a $5 Wine and Beer Walk passport good at five wineries and a brewery, and Festhalle Barn games from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. including a Beard Contest and log sawing and ice carving demonstrations.
