About the event
A busker is a street performer who works for tips. We bring in some of the very best musicians from the New Orleans and surrounding areas each year. The date is Sunday, April 12, 2026. This will be the thirteenth annual free festival. It was established to preserve and present Louisiana roots music and has grown in popularity with each passing year. It is not, however, an opportunity for busking. It is a concert/festival sponsored by the Abita Springs Opry and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival & Foundation, Inc. Please note that although we call this a busker festival, there is no opportunity for busking during the event . At the Abita Beer Stage in Abita Springs Park, 22044 Main Street, right next to the Tammany Trace and the Abita Brew Pub. This is the YouTube link to the entire 2022 Festival .
